Defensive 3-Weapons I (4 Days)
Our 3-weapons course provides you with a solid foundation in the skills necessary to effectively handle the handgun, rifle, and shotgun, as well as a respect for the responsibility inherent in owning and carrying defensive firearms. By integrating the three weapons into a single class, you are able to maximize your training time by learning overlapping and similar concepts in a single course, rather than having to take separate classes for each weapon.
The first day is spent learning the basics of defensive shooting, including safety, fundamentals of marksmanship, balancing speed and accuracy, and maintaining situational awareness. You'll also learn about steps you should take before and after a gunfight to maximize your chances of success while minimizing your exposure to legal liability. Day two will build upon what you learned on day one, and hone your skills with the handgun. In addition to increasing the speed and accuracy of your shooting, you'll also learn weapons manipulations and more defensive techniques and principles. Day three is devoted to the rifle, and in addition to fundamentals of long gun shooting, you will learn how to apply the principles you learned with the handgun to the rifle. On day four you'll learn the ins and outs of the shotgun, building upon what you've learned with the rifle, as well as learning some shotgun-specific techniques. |
